About Me


I am a linguist, sinologist, and movie lover with experience in interpreting and translating spoken and written communication from English and Chinese into Italian. My background in customer service, account management, marketing copywriting, and web and visual design inform my mindful but competitive approach. I am fueled by my passion for understanding the nuances of cross-cultural communication. I consider myself a ‘forever student,’ eager to both build on my academic foundations in language and literature studies and stay in tune with the latest expertise requirements in the translation industry through continued coursework and professional development.

My hunger for knowledge and determination to turn a passion for language and cultures into a full-time job has contributed to my most recent success as a professional translator. After two years of in-house experience at one of the most fast-paced tech companies worldwide, I have proudly started ILink – The Italian Link – a lively and up-to-date blog willing to tie cultures together, keeping in mind the idea that identity takes on value only in the midst of diversity.

I believe dedication in the workplace is key to success, a tenet I live out through the love for my family, diverse charity activities, and the habit of pampering my dining guests with loads of Italian food.
